New energy efficient CHP units, LPHW boilers & optimized the existing BFW system.
CHP (Cogeneration) is an energy efficient technology that generates electrical energy and captures thermal energy that would normally be wasted.
It was identified that the site possessed significant heat sinks for LPHW, as well
as a large electrical baseload. This made the site an ideal candidate for CHP. The LPHW network in the site was developed in order to maximize CHP sizing and savings.
The sites CHP provides the majority of the sites electricity consumption and also
provides steam and LPHW to the site.
Upgrade to the LPHW & Steam networks and the CHW system heat recovery
